Dogs on Wheels
And slugs on sticks. It’s all part of a campaign by Leonard Cheshire Disability, with a little help from the creators of Wallace and Gromit, to remind people that people with disabilities are not stupid. Or as I like to say, that we don’t have Disabilities- we have DisAbilities!
All I have left to say about this is about time, too! Oh- and I am very impressed with how much coverage this story is getting, especially from the BBC, who have covered it on everything from Newsround to the net! A big thanks to the BBC from me for showing great sensitivity towards disability in the amount and style of coverage they’ve given to this. While I’m here, they’ve improved their general coverage of disability quite a bit this year…
