I Am Shocked

Readers, I am shocked by this article. There are mothers in this world who lose their children to CP and grieve for the rest of their lives… and then there are people like Joanne Hill. All I can say is that she belongs in Hell… far away from her husband’s guardian angel. I hope and pray that she never has another child. She doesn’t deserve to call herself a mother.
Same Difference 
Last week I was at a conference – mainstream public transport stuff, nothing to do with disability. Another attendee was disabled, probably with CP. I couldn’t understand his speech, so how should we communicate? (My hearing is no longer 100%, so others might have coped better, I should add.) Reminds me of a meeting held by my local Council where a severely disabled man took a full part – he had a combination of a computer but could only use it slowly, and a skilled companion whose ability was amazing.
