A Prayer For DisAbled Angels
May you all Run In Paradise,
Racing through the sky,
On legs that finally work
And wings that fly.
May you all scream at the top
Of voices that finally come out the way they should.
May you all finally have clear sight,
And hearing that’s very, very good.
May you all always take the stairs,
And never need a lift.
May dust gather on your Earthly wheelchairs,
As you use this movement, this most priceless gift.
May you all eat ice cream
And chocolate cake
Good food that tastes real
Nothing that’s fake.
May you all finally wear high heels
Or kick footballs
May you all climb mountains
Or brick walls.
And when the time is right
May we, the ones you left on Earth,
Finally be allowed to see
This most wonderful sight.
