Jody McIntyre BBC Interview

December 14, 2010

Yesterday’s BBC interview with Jody McIntyre, the student fee protestor, blogger and journalist who has CP, is now on YouTube. It’s been going around Twitter since yesterday- disabled people are not happy at all at the way he was treated by the BBC interviewer. The video’s below, so you can see it for yourselves if you haven’t already.

I wish Jody success with any legal action he takes against the police force.

I have called the BBC complaints line 03700 100 222.
I will also be calling OfCom as well.
I find it absolutely disgraceful the way Mr McIntyre was dealt with.
Richard Littlejohn should be thoroughly ashamed and the BBC should make a formal apology to Mr McIntyre.

To quote the lady I spoke with at the BBC

“We have had a lot of complaints regarding this issue” She also assured me that all complaints would go to the news editors and BBC directors.
