Paul Somethingtobe Barnard a statement I made at #WCA tribunal –
“I have to say that this process which started in April 2012 at my first visit to the ATOS office in Chatham, has been the most painful humiliating and brutal treatment of another human being I can imagine. this is terrorism by the state on people who already have massive hurdles in life to deal with. it is worse treatment than meted out to criminals. … it is cruel relentless and vicious bullying of people who have no choice by the state…. it has taken me personally to the darkest place I have ever been, especially in view that I had made some progress with both my physical and mental health problems. I believe that the only reason I have survived it is due to the 5 years of intense therapy which I sold my house to pay for. nearly all others have not had that help, and I personally know three people who have killed themselves directly as a result of this process. it has achieved exactly the opposite of the government stated policy. it has caused through fear and stress a terrible degeneration in my physical and emotional state and made it almost impossible for me to function in ways that I was able to prior to this. I would wish that no human being should be subjected to treatment of this nature ever again. it is obscene. it has been 18 months of torture.

Same Difference 
Very well explained,its exactly how a lot of people are feeling…frightened, intimidated, like you know they just want to murder you for the sake of more money in their pockets….I have never known a Government to cause so much fear in people..people that are very ill and would probably have died sooner in the future than normal, but instead have been hounded to Death…I just wish and hope that someone out there would step in and investigate….we can,t trust the police,we can,t trust the Judges..Please someone who is involved with this bunch of sadistic sub humans ,is there anyone with a conscience…please speak out and stop them killing innocent people….

The very existence of Atos is pointless. They lack the ethical/moral standards, and lack the staff required to accurately assess people. Physios/Nurses can not give an accurate opinion on their tick box lima thing on someones needs, especially if they’re complex. How in the world is their opinion given priority over doctors and specialists? If Atos say you’re fit for work within 3 months when you clearly aren’t, the DWP will stop your benefits. You appeal, you wait, you get the money back. Months later Atos are hounding you again, you fail, you appeal, you wait, you get the money back, you get hounded again by Atos, you fail, you appeal, you wait, you get the money back(Needless to say this can go on for a while). And for what exactly? Why do people have to put up with this? We’re not scroungers.
You’ve got an estimated 24 billion pounds in unpaid corporation tax every year, why not go after that instead and leave the disabled alone?
Atos Healthcare are making blood money off the suffering off the disabled. They’re like the Nazis, but with legitimacy by this Government.
