Whilst the DWP continually says it has no Benefit Sanctions Targets, despite irrefutable evidence, this view now seems even more implausible since today it published statistics that it show they nearly trebled the number of sanction decision makers?

Right now people are losing their sole food money from sanctions, whilst the raised retirement age and denied state pension, that in 2016 will turn into
NIL STATE PENSION FOR LIFE or state pensions as low as £55 per week with no top ups (Pension Credit is part abolished part threatened).

DWP ADMIN COSTS MORE THAN EVER REDUCING MONEY TO STARVING

Your information adds further to the information gained from another blog:

DWP Admin And Salaries Costs Nearly Twice The Dole: Sack The Managers And Save Us All A Fortune – 12/23/2014

DWP Admin And Salaries Costs Nearly Twice The Dole: Sack The Managers And Save Us All A Fortune

    It began:

… The DWP spent almost twice as much on salaries, welfare-to-work schemes and administration last year than they did on unemployment benefit.

The department’s latest six monthly report shows that £7.7 billion was spent on administration costs in 2013/14 compared to £4.3 billion on Jobseeker’s Allowance, othwerwise known as the dole. In the current year administration spending is expected to hit £8 billion, whilst spending on JSA is forecast to fall to £3.7 billion as hundreds of thousands of people are bullied off benefits with sanctions and workfare. …

ADMIN RISES BUT MONEY FOR FOOD LESSENS

The Daily Telegraph article January 29, 2015

‘Benefits bill ‘unchanged’ in four years

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/11375578/Benefits-bill-virtually-unchanged-despite-Coalition-cuts-Institute-for-Fiscal-Studies-finds.html

Within which article was the information:

… £220 billion – the size of the overall benefits bill, ‘virtually unchanged’ over the past four years despite Coalition welfare cuts…
… Institute of Fiscal Studies – spending on jobseekers allowance and income support will fall to £5.2 million in 2015-2016 from £8.5 billion in 2010-11. …
…forecast that a further £21 billion of welfare savings… the IFS …think tank … said … the most significant cuts are ‘yet to come’. …

JOBCENTRES CUT STAFF AS GO DIGITAL MARCH

Jobcentres go digital from March 2015, so many staff will be made redundant.

But will the increased number of employed sanction decision-makers be made redundant?

JOBCENTRES TREAT CLAIMANTS WORSE THAN CRIMINALS

Jobcentres deny claimants a basic right enshrined in law for alleged criminals under police station interview, of regular toilet breaks and a drink.

Jobcentres do not permit claimants to visit toilets, or have shut down public access to staff toilets, nor provide a free drink of water, despite demanding hours long sign on each day. Even to a sick old incontinent man, humiliated by having to say why he needed the toilet in a group sign on of about a dozen claimants.

JOBCENTRES NEVER HAVE PROVIDED GOOD SERVICE OF RECRUITMENT CONSULTANTS

There are 750 Jobcentres, when the nation had begun with just 100, that back then were called Labour Exchanges.

I did not find a job through them back in the1970s, neither have many I have chatted to over the years, even to this day.

NATIONAL DEBT RISEN BECAUSE OF WELFARE ADMIN

There has been no austerity, despite the fact that it was not needed.
Public spending did not cause the recession.
The failure of huge international companies did back in 2008 (Lehmans / AIG).

National debt has risen because of the cost of rising welfare admin and IT costs (not least the cost projected of around £20 billion for the IT for Universal Credit by computer experts).

The Tories have spent more in 5 years, than Labour did in 13 years.

THE GREENS LOST THE SOLUTION BECAUSE NO-ONE GAVE THEM THIS KIND OF INFORMATION FROM THE BLOGOSPHERE

This would have been the way to cost the Greens’ policies of:

    – Citizen Income and
    – Full Citizen State Pension

for all citizens equally, automatically and universally, so absolute minimal admin.

The Greens have lost these sure fire vote winner poloicies, as the party does not have the funding for a professional full time office that can do this basic task.

You might care to contact the Greens direct with this information.

Because as you can see the £220 billion wasted mostly on welfare admin, could turn into the £280 billion of the ‘cost’ of Citizen Income.

But this £280 billion Citizen Income, nor the funding of the Citizen State Pension,
    is not ‘cost’, but opportunity,
as the money would have poured into the local community,
generating youth jobs on the high street,
which in turn would have generated a round robin of funding back to government,
from the 75 per cent of all tax that comes from stealth indirect taxes and VAT,
that is paid by all, in or out of work, however poor.

    THE CUNNING PLAN

There is a way to get help for the poor and starving, and there is a way that voting would do it.
