so they are stopping ESA altogether? so there will be no provision for people who are sick, ill, disabled but not bad enough for pip. UC will not be known as a disabilitry benefit will it? there wont be any differentiation between unemployment, sickness benefits or pensioners by sounds of that statement.
ESA is one of the several benefits that UC is meant to subsume, along with WTC, HB and JSA. It has the same WRAG/SG components and criteria as ESA (meaning that the WRAG component is worth £0, of course).
jeffrey davies… for crying out loud. can you stop with the aktion t4 thing please. things are bad enough without you coming out with that every time you type anything. we know. you dont have to drill it into our heads.its like that chinese torture. drip drip drip. think of something more constructive for heavens sake., (i can actually hear your voice in my head like a dirge.even though ive never heard you speak. lol.)
is this a ploy to force the £30 cut on WRAG claimants?

I thought there was a clause in benefits that those who are forced to change over will get no less than they do at present

Universal Credit will replace ESA and the statement says the rollout will be for ‘all claimant types.’
It took me a while to find the relevant bit as well!
