When you phone your local authority social work team that we’re was supposed to be insuring your well-being because you are severely disabled And they just tell you to go to your grandparents, even though I have to leave my home for five days whilst they re-install my wet room floor so therefore I’ve got to self fund. Somehow I have got to fund my hotel for me and my personal assistant as house and social social care don’t care that my grandparents are 70 years old and just want me to stay with them. My grandma is 76 my grandad is 72 and they expect him to lift me up and down the stairs for five full days. How are they allowed to do this and yet they say when I say oh I think no, I told them that I think they have a duty of care because I’m under them because I am disabled and I say “well you need to fulfil your duty of care then they say we’re not leaving you in any situation even though I’ve explained the situation and my FND is currently playing up and they still want Grandad to look after me for those five days. Bearing in mind, Grandad has to look after my grandmother as well, who is disabled and blind what the hell I have got to leave the property by 4 pm tomorrow to allow the floor to dry out before they can come and replace it as they believe that the floor underneath is damp due to crack on the floor.
