Protest The Pope

March 28, 2010

I’ve just read about a protest that is taking place as I type. A group called Protest The Pope are calling for the Pope to resign over his handling of the case of Father Murphy, an American priest who is accused of abusing around 200 deaf boys at a school for deaf children in the 1990s.

I have recently learnt that it is possible, though very rare, for a Pope to resign. So, putting religion aside, I have to say that I agree that this Pope should.

The truth is that this Pope opposes universal equality and Human Rights and mostly of the people we agree with that because the equality bill is insane.

The Vatican always supports fascist, Nazi and genocidal murderers.

The Vatican helped almost every one of the Nazi war criminals it could escape.

Pius XII elevated Stepinac who murdered 700,000 people for the Nazi’s to the cardinalate in 1952.

The Vatican supported the fascist dictatorships in South America.

The Vatican funded the defense of the Nuns and Priests responsible for the Rwanda genocide.

The Vatican defended the Catholic Holocaust denying Priests.

The Vatican defends the child rapists.

The current Pope has returned Nazi Priests to the Vatican.

The current Pope was a member of Hitler Youth.

The Pope has just asked Chile to release the mass murders and members of the fascist death squads now in prison for their crimes.

I FULLY SUPPORT “PROTEST THE POPE” AND PLAN TO MARCH ON SEPTEMBER 18th

The Vatican believes it’s power and wealth puts it in a position above the law and that it need not answer to anyone for it’s actions.

This demonstration presents a once in a century chance to shatter that myth of Papal invincibility and demonstrate that no organization is above the laws of common decency and none can ignore the will of the people.

Only a massive and aggressive show of strength and outrage can effect any change and in that spirit I implore every moral person to make a super human effort to promote this monumental event.

Another chance like this may not occur in our lifetimes and the whole World is watching to see if we can really turn our words into action.

    Don’t let them down.
