Happy 13th Birthday Hayley Okines!

A girl who has a rare premature ageing disease is making the most of teenage sleepovers and friendships after celebrating her 13th birthday, a landmark she was not expected to see.
Hayley Okines, of Bexhill, East Sussex, was diagnosed with Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome when she was one.
Doctors warned her family she was unlikely to reach her teens, but they have high hopes since she began a pioneering drug treatment in the US.

Same Difference 
I have watched the programs on Hayley and her parents on their lifestyle and their hope and search for a cure. I consider Hayley to be a most remarkable young lady,and most beautiful inside and out.Her parents are so devoted and loving, its wonderful. I wish them all the very best.I often think of Hayley and hope and pray she is ok, and the new treatment is working very well for her,and others with the same condition.
