Stupid Things MPs Might Say

I had a conversation on Twitter at the weekend that got me thinking. Someone suggested I should make a list of the stupidest things MPs have ever said. I responded that that would be a long list! But it gave me an idea for a new hashtag- #stupidthingsmpsmightsay. So, I’ve come up with one- lets see if we can get it trending! All in fun.

Who was that numpty who suggested that we disabled should have insured ourselves against becoming disabled – telling us that we have to take responsibility for our disabilities?
He also implied that the system and society would be more receptive and supportive to us if we did/ had???

He wasn’t an MP- he was head of some financial board or something… he called in to a radio programme… victoria derbyshire I think.
