Unfortunately we just don’t realise what goes on behind closed doors, many people are totally isolated anyway and they seem to have dropped off the caring scale.
Many of the ‘care’ personnel have little or no experience, they are just glad they have a job, and they won’t risk losing that job by going against their employers.
Time and time again elderly and disabled people and getting the ‘thin end of the wedge’ and the government must arrange for proper training courses and a good monitoring system in a effort to raise standards. The ethics or some of these ‘Caring’ companies stink more than the local sewerage farm.
The problem needs to be tackled now, it can’t wait until tomorrow, it must be done today.
