Theresa May MP Reveals She Has Type 1 Diabetes

This is just yet more proof that disability and/or chronic illness can happen to anyone at any time. Not sure about calling her ‘courageous’ for not stepping down from politics. Personally I don’t see why she should step down if her health allows her to continue working.

i personally don’t believe it just as i didn’t believe IDS wife had cancer. i have seen a lot of this type of claim over the past 50 or so years where people with power or money say their ill but must press on as if fully fit which leaves doubt in the minds of other people who are ill or disabled who then have to think why aren’t i working is my illness is all in the mind
and they have never showed any compassion only hatred towards their fellow sufferers
