The problem will still remain without ATOS as the government wont be changing course. ATOS should never have involved themselves in this type of business in the first place without the fully qualified staff to make sure all was in order
Most sick and disabled people are genuine and will have some better days then others very few will ever have a good day however and i have yet to meet any long term sick person who has had a good day it just doesn’t happen
all that happens is that they no longer wish to live and just feel worse then before with all the media ganging up on them and they with no redress have to suffer in silence with just brown DWP letters for company
Some sick and disabled people can handle this rough type of treatment by the DWP being handed out but there are many who cant and just go on to die in one way or another
whoever takes over will be in the same position as ATOS in just harming the long term sick and disabled in to submission with a life of nothing along with making most lead a housebound existence and that can never be right in where you persecute the sick and disabled into an early grave like we have seen in many cases the past few years

ATOS being removed is a bittersweet victory. Money speaks louder than ethics and morality and so some other company will step in and do the governments behest. Its the government that has to go and their descriminatory policies. Don’t forget Atos was Labours idea and appealed across all party boundaries.

We’ll probably get serco or g4s another non medical company to do medicals and they will be every bit as bad because of the stupid contracts that the government hand out because idiots like camoron think they are on a moral mission to make everyone work no matter what their condition is or that there aren’t jobs out there.

the real elephant in the room is Unum ( Formerly the outlawed in half the American states and many countries worldwide Unum Provident ) ….they supplied the LIMA ( Computer says no ) software for ATOS ….and used the same illegal medical insurance industry methods and definitions and the Bio-psychosocial method ….basically targeted psychaitry to ” fit in ” with far right sociology – pseudo science .
This actually goes back to the Tory Major government of the 90s …and swivel eyed ideologue Peter ” I’ve a little list ” Lilley ……however it is true that Corporate New Labour were lobbied by Unum to introduce policy in their interests …………however the appeals bill was only £3.9m ….the regretable death tolls were only in 3 figures …not 11,000 – 12,000 ; and there was an element of trialling …unlike the gung ho Tories …who took matters to unprecedented extremes .
It’s more of an unholy triangle …..Corrupt parasitical entities like ATOS doing Unum’s dirty work and crooked politicians ….there’s also shades of the 1930s with this toxic form of corporatism …abrogating state functions to these spivvy outfits with no responsibility or accountability .
