ATOS denies in public it is ATOS

Pride's Purge

(not satire – it’s ATOS!)

Government statistics reveal that between January 2010 and January 2011, 10,600 sick and disabled people people died within six weeks of their benefits having been ended after being wrongly assessed as fit for work by ATOS.

As an example of how toxic the name ATOS has become even to itself – ATOS recently changed its name in the UK to OH Assist as an attempt to distance itself from the scandal.

And in a surreal, Kafkaesque comment worthy of the best satirist, OH Assist has taken to denying it is ATOS – while at the same time admitting it is ATOS.

Hi guys, love the group, don’t really know where to turn to at the mo as I just keep hitting a brick wall,I suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2008,I was but on DLA & income support,in 2013 Atos asked me to attend a test to see if I was fit for work,at the test they never once asked about my condition and scored me no points,I apealed and won my tribunal and was awarded ESA and have to attend a work group once a week which is a total waiste of time as I’m very limited as to what I can do,also in May last year I forgot to fill in a renewal firm in for DLA ( I have memoir problems due to my brain injury) and they stopped my money,I got my carerer to contact them and try and explain but they said I would have to go on to PIP so I filled the form in and went to another Atos assesment in July 2013 but haven’t heard nothing since,I’ve been the CAB on numerous times but no one can get through to ATos,I live at home with my mum since my injury and I dread to think what would happen to me if I didn’t,I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction as to complain about the way I’ve been treated, thank you very much .✌️James
