JobCentre Call Police On Claimant Because He Begs For Advisors’ Help

March 30, 2015

With many thanks to Justice4Jobseekers.

Thanks to Julie O’Dwyer for sharing this with us. More evidence of the increasing level of inhumanity shown by so-called Jobcentre advisers:

“I was in the job centre several weeks ago. Whilst waiting to be seen I could hear a gentleman begging for somebody to properly explain why he had been sanction. The advisor refused to speak to him any further and so the gentleman said he would sit and wait until somebody could explain things to him. He was totally non aggressive and not at all confrontational. The job centre called the police and they forcibly removed him from the building. I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life! The poor guy was desperate and the people who are there to supposedly support him just turned their backs and had him turfed out onto the street! That one incident said it all to me. So sad.”

no comments… have noticed this on other blogs that bring these happenings/events to the fore. no comments.. shows how we are all so complacent now.we know there’s little we can do individually. and so many are either too ill, disabled, elderly or have commitments like work ,kids, caring for a relative. they cant do anything but surely adding their voice and promoting awareness on these blogs. by at least sharing them with their friends is a must do???? are we just so inundated with it all that its become the norm for us as in Victorian times.???.. shared on Facebook (the only media site i use myself though do go on other sites. political ones at times. so will share there too
    )

What am I thinking? Tell you the truth I am so bloody angry I am shaking. Is this really what we have come to in this once compassionate country of ours? Is this really what this venal Tory party has reduced us to, a bunch of uncaring, insensitive give a damn “I’m alright Jack” bigots?
Dear God in heaven please help us rid ourselves of this treacherous corrupt government, let the people wake up and see, that it’s this poor man today, it could be them and their family tomorrow. Lets #KickTheToriesOut

the lack of comments may be because people have been brainwashed into believing ALL on benefits are “scroungers” Thats the governments divide and rule campaign, and includes the disabled and the sick ,young people who cant find jobs and the elderly who paid into the “social security” budget all their lives.I think using the american term “welfare” is possibly part of the problem it was always social security when I was growing up and nobody was ostrasiced for using the system

I have felt the same regarding lack of comments, and I have mentioned this before. Personally I am not always well enough to comment, even though I read all the reports of these dreadfully alarming and unacceptable happenings in Job centres and the like.

When I’m able I write to the media on such matters, and maybe the Julie who witnessed this could also share this despicable treatment with the papers.

Not a day goes by but we hear of some poor innocent folk being unacceptably treated. We all have to highlight these appalling acts and whistle-blow on everything we see which is far from right..

Maybe some a fearful of commenting, in case they suffer in some way?? Who knows.

Words fail, maybe that’s the problem and over exposure to constant negativity and cruelty towards claimants. I read these examples of inhumanity, I am subject to them too.

    Weary and exhausted. Yes.

    Complacent. Never.

David Cameron wasn’t kidding when he called on volunteers to help others. TO TAKE OVER the jobs of the people who list their jobs to the cuts this government made.
So.if we carry on volunteering and helping people we can show our poxed over paid scum politicians WE are the force of the country. Not them.

Do they not send out “Good Reason” letters asking you to justify whatever your crime was first, and then the letter to say you are sanctioned?

As a Samaritan I find these kind of situations deplorable ,there’s no sense of empathy from anyone who works at these office I found from my own personal experiences.

SANCTIONS MEAN THE VOTE OR STARVE ELECTION

Sanctions will become permanent under Universal Credit because Hardship Payments become recoverable loans by direct deductions from future benefit or wages by court action.

Sanctions will hit the working poor by replacing working tax credits, and sanctioning workers for failing to move from part time to full time hours, and pensioners by pension credit replaced by UC if one partner is below the raised retirement age.

Sanctions are several months long, when medicine knows that people starve to death, on average, within a month. Obviously age and health makes this less or more.

Doctors are saying again and again that the NHS is getting hit by a huge rise of malnutrition hospital admissions.

GPs are reporting a huge rise in the hunger symptom in kids, of Rickets, affecting bone development.

Anecdotal personal testimony says again and again that heavily pregnant ladies getting sanctioned, go into premature labour (a risk to mother and baby) and after the birth the sanction continues and the stress denies the new mother the ability to breastfeed, and there is no money for baby’s milk. There was one lady on a Channel 4 Dispatches programme who had suffered a stress injury of Bell’s Palsy, paralysed one side of her face.

Stress just by itself, with no other illness, can cause heart failure.

PARTIES OF THE POOR ARE THE REAL NO COMMENTS VICTIMS
THE POOR VASTLY OUTNUMBER ALL OTHER VOTERS

The national press and TV news entirely ignore the parties of the poor, that is the sole way to gain sufficient MPs to shut the Tories out of power, in a group of parties (a coalition can be more than 2 parties) to get past the 323-326 MP threshold for a majority government.

Labour even with the SNP and a few Plaid Cymru cannot reach that threshold.

So we get the most severe hung parliament where neither Labour nor Tories win.

Then a second general electon, when we get a TORY / LABOUR COALITION.

Only by voting for MPs from the parties of the poor, can the Tories be shut out of power.

    WHO ARE THE POOR?

    The poor are:

    – working poor and poor pensioners who are 97 per cent of benefits bill
    – poor disabled of all ages
    – ever sanctioned unemployed, soon to be joined by working poor
    – chronic sick / terminally ill declared fit for work again sanctioned again and again
    – new poor pensioners due to lose ALL STATE PENSION FOR LIFE
when state pension is payable if retire or stay in work.
See end of my petition, in my WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT section, at:
    https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/state-pension-at-60-now

WHO ARE THE PARTIES OF THE POOR?
ONLY WAY TO DELIVER AN ANTI AUSTERITY GOVERNMENT IN 2015
FOOD ON THE TABLE FOR ALL

    – TUSC (Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition)
6th biggest party yet totally ignored by the national media
when as running over 125 MP candidates it should be getting fair media coverage.

    – Socialist GB

    – Mebyon Kernow
Cornwall has single figure votes gained by sitting Tory or Lib Dem MPs.

    – Class War
    Double dole and pension
Fighting alongside protestors of the social cleansing
of London by entire social housing estates being evicted as sold to
developers to build luxury flats, by part or entire privatised councils.

LABOUR IS INSIDE THIS MULTI PARTY COALITION

Only TUSC, Socialist GB, Mebyon Kernow and Class War, inside an arm’s length support and confidence coalition (this is how it has successfully been done for many years in Europe’s nations, where this is the norm) is the only way to:

Turn Labour back to an anti austerity party.

Save Labour from the same demise as Lib Dems, by ending up in a
TORY / LABOUR straightforward coalition that means the Tories rule forever.
