I had a mobility car when I was in hospital for five weeks after two weeks I got my son to take it and put his name on the insurance. Because it had a blue badge and I had been told to park it where it was I would have fought any ticket to the death and invoiced the hospital for the fines plus compensation
Surely if the ticket isn’t given by the police or council then it’s not an actual fine so really doesn’t need paying. The hospital needs to admit they allowed whatever company it is to fine people and the land doesn’t belong to anyone other than the hospital. The hospital are not allowed to fine people and will not admit they allowed it, case over, BUT PLEASE CHECK IT OUT FIRST. Good luck with it.
Hey , Hospitals cannot fine you. Their car parks belong to you the tax payers. Why should you have to pay for parking? Come to Wales where prescriptions and parking in hospitals are free.
Have you had a letter threatening you with fines? If yes are you given three options? Pay now it is £40 within 7 days £ 80 if paid within 2 weeks and if not £120 there after plus £x per day there after. The figures in this post are not deemed to be correct they are mere assumptions. However no one can fine you or threaten to fine you without you going to court. That is the law. Bill of Rights 1689 and Magna Carter 1215. Basic laws of British Constitution.
Tell them you will gladly pay on condition, that because of the pain and suffering they have caused you and your family you intend to sue them for £5000 per member of your immediate family and give them 7 days to pay. See what happens. They will back down like a rat being chased by a rather ferocious cat.
