BREAKING: House Of Commons Rejects Lord Low Amendment Calling For Impact Assessment Into ESA WRAG Cuts #NoESACut
March 2, 2016
Readers, the House of Commons have just voted against Lord Low’s amendment on the proposed cuts to the ESA WRAG. The Amendment called for an impact assessment into the proposed cuts to the ESA WRAG, before these become law.
Same Difference is deeply saddened to be writing this result. However we admit that we are not surprised.
We will bring readers the full list of MPs who once again voted in favour of this deeply cruel cut, as soon as the information becomes available.

Why?????
What is wrong with these people in Govt????
What are they afraid of???
If they had the courage of their convictions they’d do it, but no. . . .running scared of the truth of what they’ll find.
They are afraid of the poor rising up to fight them in the street just like the poll tax riot.
They simply will not be told. This is just the tip of the iceberg – expect them to come after people in the ESA Support Group next.
We have one hell of a fight on our hands, who else is there to stop the suicides and poverty that this cut will help happen, I’ve had another thought will there be a sudden marked increase in April 2017 of people being put in the WRAG group? by then I have the feeling the support group will have further cuts to it as well, or more hurdles to get to appeal, they’ve not finished yet. How the hell do we get the general public to sit up and take notice???
I can see why there are so many suicides, I’m feeling it too 😦
Be strong, Samaritans Fphone 116 123 24/7, they helped me, there are millions on our side but is just getting them together.

Can they legally ignore a Lords Amendment?
They are made from Teflon and they seem to be above the law, which is a disgrace, evil Teflon TORIES.
Philip, I gather it’s the years spent at a public school that gives them the Teflon coating. General Haig, of world War One infamy is the best example of how cold, heartless and devoid of humanity it makes our ruling class (self-appointed to be true, but they are a powerful class).
Their over-reaching self-belief and a large dollop of hubris could do for them; look at Saunders in the USA and the election of Corbyn over the Tory-lite poodles that have hijacked for decades. Nonetheless, between the present and their demise there’s an awful lot of pain to be born by England’s disabled and poor. As has been mentioned above, how many of us will fall to this relentless assault is a terrible indictment on them. On that it needs to be borne in mind every suicide serves to strengthen their grip and, some might argue, that’s what they actually want. So if you want to make a Tory toff’s day ‘top-yourself’; alternatively, fight like a super-hero with every once of strength you’ve got. Personally, I have to admit to swaying from one to the other; I hope, though, to battle hard. In that I will point out to all I know how nasty, contradictory, and inefficiently administered their policies are. What’s the point of paying N.I. and taxes for an insurance scheme, against unemployment, accidents and illness and at the same time paying humungous wads of cash to a private corporations to make sure you can’t get at it when you need it.
shaunt
God Save Ian Duncan-Smith, because no one else will!.
