They state ‘current legislation will be discussed if thought appropriate’ . In what respect could it not be thought not appropriate to question Mr Crabbe MP over the cuts to disabled people’s benefits. I think charities need to strike a ahrder bargain with MP’s who merely want to add patron of a charity to their CV in order to improve their chance of becoming a minister for the appropriate department. This decision is despicable.
Reblogged this on campertess and commented:
I think the charities that have Tory MPs for patrons should be avoided, I might be wrong & I usually am but I don’t trust them at all. I now only give to the local food bank.
Same here Kel.
Why do they need to have him as patron, they are part of the Disability Consortium whom already have the ‘ear’ of MP’s. This is a shambles and this man should be removed as Patron immediately. If not, a campaign should be started to make the public aware of how this charity operates. Would they still feel the same if they were hit in the pocket and donations fell? I suspect not…
as i have always stated most charities are NOT what they seam. they are a big business with connections to many Freemasons
if you think a charity will help you in some way you’d be a fool. they involve themselves in may pies some of which are not good
i should add the above only applies to the staff at the top
as for myself iv’e never met a genuine British charity and certainly not up to my level of expertise
