I’m going for a PIP Assessment next week and I’ll be ready for him/her,because my carer who filled in a part of the report will and he will be asking why didn’t you people contact me
Make sure you ask for a copy of the ATOS assessors actual report, not just relying on the DWP decission makers letter, go through it point by point stating what is wrong , or occassionally right. The assessors often contradict themselves as they cut and paste answers. Send any supporting evidence that you have again, for example copies of hospital letters. Get your GP if they are willing just to give a brief few sentence note of your condition and how it affects you. If the ATOS assessor has told lies give proof that they did e.g. photos.Contact your MP, they have a hot line to the DWP and may be able to give further help and advice before you apply for Mandatory Reconsideration. and chase up your case.
ATOS do tell lies, They don’t often contact people for reports. Good Luck.
