Still living on £63 a week for two people – been 8.5 months since my ESA was paid, I estimate they owe me roughly £4,500 now.
Test centre is inaccessible to manual wheelchair users, Will Quince MP has been utterly useless at dealing with the issue.
Being told that not being able to get in the test centre as its inaccessible and in breach of the Equalities Act 2010 means that I’m fit for work is logic worthy of Kafka.
Received a bunch of DWP notes about my case on Sat 23rd December with NO cover letter, assumed it meant my tribunal date would be in about 4 weeks, therefore the 23rd Jan, giving the DWP two weeks for the letter to arrive due to Christmas post, figured I’d get hold of my benefits advisor on Tue 9th Jan to help me sort it out…
Then they held my tribunal on 4th Jan – WITHOUT informing me!!! Case was dismissed now having to request permission to appeal that…
Too disabled for JSA, not disabled enough for ESA, have lost 5 stone in 8 months, my son has lost around 3 stone in the same time period.
No Social Worker as mine left in July last year and still hasn’t been replaced.
Basically slowly dying and can’t seem to get anyone to give a rats arse about it.
Only online briefly at a friend’s house.
My life is the reality of the Tory ‘austerity’ cuts and it is nothing short of eugenics by fiscal policy.
Share this as much as you want. Don’t have messenger as have had no TV, phone or Internet for eight months.
This is REAL LIFE for many disabled people – based on a sample size of 1,000 (a statistically significant sample size) – 0.8% were affected right now by this – which extrapolates to 1,040 people in Colchester alone affected by this issue at this moment in time, yet my MP only passed it on to Sarah Newton MP (the disabilities minister at the time), who sent back a scribbled note that basically said “The website says the test centre is accessible, therefore it is”.
I could state on a website that the sky is green with purple spots, but that doesn’t make it true – the test centre is simply inaccessible to self- propelling manual wheelchair users, mobility scooter users, electric wheelchairs and even manual wheelchairs that are pushed as the step is high enough to scrape the folding mechanism on the wheelchair, which damages it.
With over 1,000 people in my town currently affected by having an inaccessible ESA test centre – how many times is this being replicated throughout the country?
Why is my MP simply ignoring the fact that there are disabled people in our town currently starving to death? Would it be because he’s a Conservative MP and following party lines??

Absolutely.
fyi,
For PTSD checkout the “Evidence Based Medicine Protocols” that WCA quacks and DWP Torturers are *supposed* to use in their BS assessments –
