A Story That Should Scare Us All

December 20, 2013

From ATOS Miracles comes a story that has confirmed my worst fears for sick and disabled people as a result of energy price rises and welfare cuts.

Joan Wheatland

I just got this information from a nurse freind of mine last night…….a man who has diabetics type 2 and severe copd was brought in to hospital last night…..aged 61 his esa was stopped 8 weeks ago after being found fit 2 work….. it turns out he has been eating dried corn flakes for the last 5 weeks and has no electric on for 5 weeks….. he has had no heating or even able to boil a kettle for a hot drink…..he was not even able to use his nebulizer without electric…..the cold has got to his lungs and his blood sugars have gone dangerously low as type 2 diabetics must eat 3 times a day 2 keep blood sugars level……the nurses have chipped in to get him a bottle of squash and some fruit ….apparently this gentleman is very unwell at the moment and if the tories and lib dems find peoples hunger something to laugh at will they also find this funny? The sick and vonerable will end up in hospitail beds if they cant eat and stay warm……this mans situation is just a taste of what the future holds for thousands…….peoples health will suffer and any savings made on welfare will have 2 be spent on the NHS as people get sick……

I don’t realy know what I am thinking at the moment, I am speechless, I do feel sick to the stomache, I do feel this government should be put in a pit with nothing but the elements and left to rot, I cannot for the life of me believe this is all happening in Great Britain in 2013. What the hell did my Grandparents fight for, certainly not this. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE

We have to get out of the left right paradigm…..they are all controlled by bankers and secret societies. It really is time to wake up, the wolf is at the door.

Evil Is The Conservative party. Forget Marx, the Tories are the main catalyst for a peoples revolution. Just keep putting that straw on the camel’s back.

Don’t think Labour will do any better as they are similar to the Tories in many ways. We need a complete change in this country

Do you really think that a Labour government would do this to it’s own people? On what basis do you spread such fear and dis-information?

There is always a compromise when seeking political solutions. There is no time to form a different political party that can take power. The present government is directly responsible for thousands of deaths, they have blood on their hands. We should all take personal responsibility for trying to do whatever we can to end this misery, be it writing to MPs, attending demonstrations, or just copying on this type of story to as many people as possible. Or do you want to stand on the side lines as thousands more die this winter, until a solution comes along that you approve of?

The Labour party is an open organisation, anyone can join, and members can shape policy. This is the compromise for many people, but it is the only one available in the midst of this crisis.

If we’re not careful, while waiting for the better solution, the totalitarian austerians in power right now will take this country from us, and by then we will not be able to fight back.

        > Do you really think that a Labour government would do this to it’s own people?
‘It’s own people?’ You must be joking, we are not ‘it’s own people’ The majority of them haven’t got a clue what it’s like for ordinary people, let alone feel any affiliation with the average working class person.

        >” On what basis do you spread such fear and dis-information?”
Fear & dis-information? What planet are you on? All I said was Labour would not do any better, and yes I do believe they would if they felt it was politically expedient to get themselves elected. After all they pretty much bankrupted this country and they had their noses in the trough in the expenses fiasco the same as everyone else, so their moral compass is also skewed.

Sad really I was quite enjoying this blog but if you can’t even see that none of the parties came out of the last decade or so smelling of roses, then your bias has blinded you to the truth.

        >If we’re not careful, while waiting for the better solution, the totalitarian austerians in power right >now will take this country from us, and by then we will not be able to fight back.

So who’s spreading fear and dis-information now?

I`m dreading what the future holds for us all. I wish that I`d emigrated from this country when I was younger, but I never got the oppertunity. they want all the unemployed to work, but how can we find jobs when there just aren`t enough to go round thanks to mass immigration.

UK, A prison without bars, a Government with neither conciense or mandate. A great people bereft of a voice to articulate their Disgust. Find a voice and censure all of parliament. Return Government to representatives of the people and their needs not a Parliament of psychophantic sophists and apologists for the greed of Global Corporatism.
