Hilary Lister In Hospital With Hypothermia

I’m very sorry to read today that, after being rescued off the coast of West Wales, Hilary Lister is in hospital with hypothermia. I wish her well, and sincerely hope that she is able to recover and continue her second attempt to become the first disabled woman to sail solo around Britain.

    Thanks for your concern, Hilary is fit and well and in Wicklow today. Just to set the record straight, Hilary neither had hypothermia nor had to be ‘rescued’, all media hype I’m afraid!

    Hi Paul

    Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and to set the record straight. I’ve been following Hilary’s sailing attempt since last year. I’m glad she is well and I wish her all the best for the rest of the trip.
