It makes ,e angry when I see someone taking up a disabled parking space whilst not displaying a Blue Badge. Over the years I have heard lots of excuses, but people saying “I will not be a minute” takes first place. Other’s say they didn’t realise it was a disabled space whist mouthing ‘sorry’, or sorry I left my badge at home/ in the car etc.
A disabled parking space makes my life a lot easier, although I don’t drive myself, my wife does that for me, the extra space means I can get into and out of my wheelchair more easier. Not to park because a person, who is not entitled, has taken the space is galling to say the least. Yes, have my space, have my disability…I will swap anyday!
Well Said John…This is one bug-bare it makes me mad when I see these posh big cars who think they own the roads and all parking spaces. Especially outside opposite our local GP Surgery where there is a muli-storey Car park…They just have to park in the first four parking spaces being strictly for Disabled Blue Badge drivers. With Road Rage too is a good thing I don’t drive but have confronted a couple of times out of pure principle and the filth that comes out of their mouths. Shame on these drivers you know who you are.Grrrrr thats my rant done LOL But ist so true. Blessings to you and yours thank you for sharing.
what i do find most odd is those with very expensive cars using a blue badge. i wouldn’t think that normal for a disabled person to think like that but you do get wealthy disabled people so i guess that’s their choice
