I’d love to join in – but I have medication which has to be kept refrigerated! Morally and wishfully with you though.

im thinking very very cold, hungry and with a frightened dog who will only be able to hear the fireworks rather than the tv on full blast to disguise them. thats not going to help anything. if we could do that for one day then we would be able to do it every day of the year and save us a fortune. unfortunately we cant. my freezer is on its last legs anyway so its not going to keep stuff frozen for a day with out electricity. i have a new green eco boiler that costs less if you have it on all the time, just very low.

I don’t think my 2 and 3yr old children would be very happy if they couldn’t shower in the morning, eat, watch tv, keep warm, have a bath or have to sit in the dark! I’m also not a fan of having water all over when my freezer thaws out then I’d have to throw all the food away! I’m not entirely sure this was very well thought out
