Toni Pearce

March 27, 2014

She’s the first NUS president not to attend university– but what really matters to me is that she’s disabled. She has EDS.

I’m not sure if the NUS have ever had a disabled president before, but I have my doubts.

Good luck to Toni Pearce in her new role. If she has had a lot of experience in similar roles there is probably no need for her to have been to University. It may sound a bit odd, but I expect she will do a good job for the students.
