    this is meant to be everyday life not worst day/best day, just say don’t know everyday is different, again this shows the fact that this test is not to standard and now there coming out with stupid things to try and justify it, they really need to take a deep look at themselves first

    when I was asked this during my PIP I answered truthfully EVERY DAY is a bad day the others are worse, she was very exasperated with me and asked several times before giving up.

    Looking back i was asked this by a PIP assessor some 15 months ago. “what are you like on a good day” … I rather shot back at her, err excuse me i don;t have good days, i have days where i just about cope and days where i don’t. It’s been so long since i had anything resembling a good day i;ve forgotten what normal is. Strange sge didn’t go down that line of questioning again !

    In my successful pip application I answered that “I don’t have good days, merely some days that are somewhat more tolerable than others.” That seemed to be acceptable.

    I have a multitude of illnesses and my Answer would be I don’t know because I haven’t had a good day, we all know what we would say now but maybe under the pressure from dark lords it might for some of us be difficult, answer and I think that the DWP knows exactly what its representatives but don’t say anything. A hard and stressful time.

    I am surprised many claimants don’t verbally attack the HP if they ask about a good day. A good day for me is not speaking to anyone or a day I go out and don’t try and hit someone because they either insult me or make a snide comment about my condition. Then again it could be that I don;t get asked by Maximus or Aos to describe a good day because my reply would scare the hell out of them.

      I think that they have not really put any thought into this question at all and it is also questionable as to whether it is a safe question, either a good day or a bad day, i am sure even a mh team would be carefull with this line for fear of triggering a response, there is also a safeguarding angle, the person being examined may not have a good week, especially as these run-ups to the medicals are high stressor’s and then some idiot ask you tell me a example of a good day or bad day, who would be responsible for a person’s actions if that question wound someone up so bad that they went and did something, this goes to show how desperate they are getting to really try and keep tweaking at a system that they know is causing a problem.

      the best answer to that question, i cannot answer that question it could bring back some sad memories or thoughts and i have a duty of care to myself and others, duty of care come’s under there responsibilty and a proper professional would be a bit carefull of pushing the question if you mentioned that statement as duty of care applies to them once you stated that the reply could cause you a issue

    Surely the only answer is “My best day will be when I get a letter saying you lot have finally accepted my health issues mean I’m not getting a paid job any time soon and I can concentrate on getting better.”
