I am now 65 last august when I was still 64 went for pip assessment after having been on Middle rate dla for 4years refused read the med report from assessment .Have come to the conclusion that the claimant should be warned that the moment they reach the assessment centre .that Every thing you say and do will be used as part of the assessment however innocuous the question . example In my case I was asked if I wanted to use the lift I knew the building was only two floors and can manage one flight but would begin to struggle if more than that and would choose the lift in a building more than two floors There was what seemed to be general chat .in the report any of this that would seem to demonstrate I do not qualify for benefit was included such as I feed hedgehogs in my garden ,I took my shoulder bag off and put it on the floor lots more I wont bore you with .Expect this my 94 year old mother died the week before and the funeral was the day before the assessment obviously as I was asked how I was feeling I mentioned this . The assessor in her full report said I seemed upset about this but was able to continue and seemed to become cheerful .I am waiting for an appeal date so have been researching as I am now more or less housebound .Firstly I have been asking the DWP at least two questions every day through the what do they know site .When I have asked questions that if given the answer would expose the DWP the mess they are in they reply that it would cost to much to furnish the answer or not in the public interest but I know how to research since the introduction of the assessments from 2013 to may 2016 all figures show that the proposed saving of 0.4 billion over this time period has been saved from disallowing payment of benefit on new applications and renewal claims but this has to balanced against the actual cost of outsorting the increased work load at the DWP .The increase in appeals (clogging up the courts) and the cost of that has wiped out the 0.4billion saved .and further research shows the DWP when reporting to the Government have predicted that the cost of assessments will quadruple between 2016 to 2018 .They have had to employ more civil servants example 180 new presenting officers whoes sole purpose is to represent the DWP at appeals The tax payer would better served by instead of these officers they recruited 180 fraud officers ,We all know that there are people who are frauds ,and I have realised just how easy it is to fraudulently be awarded this benefit as the DWP in most all cases especially renewal claims and claims moving from DLA to pip do not contact the claimants GP All because of the cost .All you have to do is tick all the boxes then when you go to the assessment know the rules and playact .The level of deceit and I have to say dishonesty and misconduct throughout the last three years is staggering and what has it achieved .Increased cost to the taxpayer .Genuine people being made to feel as though they are liars .Genuine people being thrown into poverty .Genuine people having the support they need to live a normal life being taken away And even some people who have not been able to cope taking their own lives .this I do believe after having spoken to their relatives plus my own despair and depression .I feel that a classroom of 14/15 year olds have been asked to make a list of questions to show how a disabilty would affect somebody every day

What about the Tort Law If you could prove that having your benefit stopped it has caused you harm .I have been trying to find the numbers of posthumous appeals that have taken place The DWP refuse to answer this .but I do know this happens

What I would argue somebody suffering from Agoraphobia and does not drive the only way they can get out of the house to go anywear is not just the need of getting from a to b by taxi but the need for that taxi to be driven by another person Would this not qualify you for planning and following journeys under F cannot follow a familiar journey without another person (the taxi driver ) as you can not tell the taxi driver that its OK you will drive yourself .Therefore if the only way you can get anywhere is by taxi it comes under needing another person scores 12 points

My experience mirrored..rubbish…set up to fail if you are honest and true about your disability and needs, How has the country come to childish algorithms and loaded questions to determine need?

What are you thinking?
