Well done to THS football club. I am a wheelchair user, but very aware the difficulty that people for example those that have to deal with catheter drainage systems, intermittent self catheterisation, stomas, or need to wear and change large incontinence pads or need grab rails but can walk have in using disabled toilets without getting abuse or questioned by others. My only fear about this sign is that by using the normal male and female symbols as well may encourage more who do not need to use these larger special toilet facilities to abuse them thinking they are for use by all. Some disabled people do not have normal bladder and bowel control, and having unnecessary accidents because the facilities are being used by someone who simply wants more privacy or are nearer shouldn’t but does happen. With shared disabled toilet facilities on trains even when it is not out of order it can be difficult to actually use them when needed.

What are you thinking?
