ATOS Falsifying DWP Records Over Claimant’s Assessment

August 23, 2016

Readers, if you think this is bad, this seems worse to us. It was left at Fightback’s Facebook page yesterday.

Atos told the DWP that i attended an appointment that i never ever received a letter about, and that i refused to engage before walking out.  Surely falsifying government records is illegal?

Two scarily similar stories in one day. It seems that more and more people are being blamed for not receiving DWP letters. Take note, readers.

they need to look into this company to see if they are carrying out defrauding the DWP by making false claims for costs.

If any person gets this done to them then they should ask for photo and video evidence of them going in and leaving the premises. They would need to know what you were wearing on the day. I would use this to get them to slip up by saying knee length skirt multi – coloured blouse and some woman’s coat, women can do the same with men’s clothing just to see if they get photo’s or video of someone that is not them. This company needs to be stripped of their contract and any person who has this happen to them get at least £250,000 that no DWP department can ever say is savings or income

There is something in law called “PROOF of CLAIM”. Always ask the question “do you have proof of claim that I received the document you speak about?” What this means is that they do not have any evidence. Always ask for ”
    PROOF of CLAIM.”

I raised this point about 5-6 years ago when i did a SAR request from the DWP for all my ESA/DLA paperwork.
It seems they did an assessment in Dec 2012 that i knew nothing about and certainly didn’t attend , yet the paperwork read as if I had actually attended.
I raised this with the DWP and nothing was said, in fact they totally ignored it.

I’ve also learnt in the last few months that i was still in the SG of ESA, and will be until Sept 2017, based on an assessment i allegedly had in Sept 2014. It might have been a paperbased assessment, but as i have never had any paperwork or official notification i have no idea.
I said at the time i wonder how many paper based assessments have been done and they have been worded to appear they are R2F assessments thus claiming more money.

I truly believe this will be the next Crapita/Atossers/Maximus scandal and i also believe it;s been going on for years

My wife was called on the afternoon of Friday 5 August. To Inform her that she would be seen by a home visit officer at 10:15 the following Monday (8) August. My wife explained we did have an appointment at 11;00 at the local hospital but the caller stated it wouldn’t be a problem the visit would take around 15 minutes. Monday came 10:15 came, and went. As did 10.:30. Visitor from ATOS no show! At 10:50 left home for hospital, 11:00 my wife’s phone rings – Its ATOS!! Where are you? We make appointments between 10 and 12. They don’t make appointments on the quarter hour. Basically calling my wife Kim, a liar!! We said we would leave the hospital and come straight back, she said she would wait. Eight minutes to return home – nobody there! Called ATOS said they would call her find out what was happening and call back – no call back( Phoned ATOS again they said records had now been sent to DWP because WE didn’t attend???

Rang DWP they treated it as though it was an every day occurrence and said another appointment will be out soon and they would log my feelings of dissatisfaction with ATOS at which is said no it’s not a feeling of dissatisfaction it’s a full blown complaint! At which he tutted and said I have to send a complaint pack.oit to you.then. I await both the new appointment and the complaint pack. Hope this might be of interest.
