   This must be the wonderfull training that there taught at by the 5 weeks of excellence sponsored by the Dwp, it does seem to miss few things, common sense, what happens in a emergency and of course the obvious except to this misguided assessor, what extra measures is a employer going to have to put in place. I do hope this person is reported for misconduct to his governing body rather than waste time going through there complaints procedure and that should this have to go further than mandatory reconsideration i e tribunal there named and shamed for sheer stupidity, something that the five weeks of excellence course seems to be renowned for, bringing out sheer stupidity and even more sheer stupidity by paying them 34k for there stupidity or maybe there not that thick, who else would go and employ these people, not me, then again good tory party candidates as sheer stupidity exists there. I hope this braincell of a assessor gets struck of.

     spot you got to complain to their companys they work for and their union otherwise these highly trained hcp will get away scot free

       not necessarilly, serious misconduct you can go straight to the professional body, complaining to the companies concerned means that you get a a apology if your lucky, they then say that they did not carry out the right procedure and there a naughty person who will get told and then a few months later will do it again,the actual complaint to take it all the way is about four stages,can take ages and then becomes a ice issue, they don;’t like it going to tribunal for the reasons that is it is costly, means the professional can at least get supervision or worse and makes it a dance like easy to sue the company concerned,to be really honest in this case should a person who thinks that someone with no legs can climb stairs and be fit to work be assessing a person, no, because to me whatever form of qualification and training they have, there seams to be a thing lacking common-sense which is probably bought on by there greedy desire to fail a person and if they were ever to lose there job and not be struck of , guess where they could be working next, a care home, a hospital, the thought shivers that someone as thick as this should even be allowed in a caring profession, find something nice and safe for them, counting traffic cones on the M25 during rush hour sounds like a good place to start.

   I was told that climbing stairs is not a factor when applying for PIP. Its how far u can walk before pain and other issues, but no stairs or steps involved.

     2 steps has always been the case,though that can be interpreted differnently at tribunal level

   i also thought there was a Punchline, then I realised it was the atox/maximus capita conglomerate backed up by the DWP, so yes, there is a punchline, greed and stupidity versus common sense, that about sums up the policy and the people behind it.
