- what people presume we can’t do that are a in keep calm saying series but this time about Wheelchair users saying number three but actually some of us do this multiple times a week or even multiple times a day while some of us can’t do these things obviously because each person is different, a lot of us do so it is not right to presume that we can’t just because you see us using a Wheelchair either all of the time or some of the time as I wa a teenager and when at school I swam multiple times a week sometimes multiple times a day depending on Pain in fact schools that specialise in taking people with neuro disability and Wheelchair users actually have swimming pools within their schools to encourage swimming whenever it is required by the person that uses a Wheelchair in my case full-time but I still did it multiple times a day and at least multiple times week so it is not right to presume neither is it accurate assumption and it is a very uneducated assumption for someone to make and these keep calm sayings about Wheelchair uses highlights important things that we actually have had people presume about our abilities and what we can and can’t do before they even know us.
- keep calm saying number three in my series of keep calm things this one is about how non-disabled people attempt to talk to Wheelchair users and honestly think they are doing the right thing by doing so you wouldn’t believe how many times people have tried to talk to me like this they seem to think a Wheelchair equals deaf when unfortunately it doesn’t.
